It is of utmost importance that any absence of a student at Jefferson School be reported to the School Nurse (Health Office), between 8:20 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on the day of the absence. This must be done for each daily absence. If a prolonged period of illness is indicated, please notify the nurse at this time.

If you wish to report an absence prior to 8:00 a.m., an answering machine is available. Parents using the answering machine must give the following information:

NAME, IDENTIFICATION NUMBER AND HOMEROOM OF STUDENT
REASON FOR ABSENCE
NUMBER WHERE PARENT CAN BE REACHED
